It was around midnight about five years ago.  I sat at my computer, trembling at the thought of what I was about to do.  I took a deep breath and clicked the link that put my my very private and sacred experience about my “near death experience” online.

But I knew that I had to.  No one had a gun to my head but the urging to tell my story was stronger than if there would have been one.  After more than 25 years of silence, I suddenly felt as if I wanted to share the beauty and lesson of the experience more than I wanted to protect myself from the ridicule and arguments that were sure to come.

There’s been some of that but there have also been people like Brad who have shown up and made me feel like I did the right thing.  I had shared my story to help others understand the importance and power of love and to help remove the fear of God’s judgment because I felt only love from Him.

Brad was someone who related to my experience because he has experienced a special connection himself-and it didn’t require a “near death experience.”  Everyone is capable of experiencing something similar.
