I have to admit that as the rain just kept coming, as the wind blew ferociously and howled outside my windows, sirens blew and warnings beeped from my television, I was scared. But it was nothing like the feeling I had when I saw the destruction it had caused to others. My damage was minimal where so many had lost everything, some even their lives.

But these are also the times that make me feel so grateful for the things I have learned in my life that allow me to change my feelings of fear and despair to faith and hope. When the immediate danger was over, I knew exactly what to do and so I did it.  I used energy medicine to calm my anxiety.

I have strong conviction that it is always my responsibility, knowing what I know, to eliminate my feelings of fear and desperation. I knew that if I did not, I would only be adding my energy to the chaos created by the situation.

I know that thoughts matter and they are a part of what determines the energy others have to deal with that are around you. I know that the process of creating feelings of love in my heart, amplifying the feelings and sending them out to surround those whose lives are turned upside down makes a difference.

I hope you can develop the practice of doing that too. That is how we can all help each other.

Feeling love in your heart and visualizing it as a beautiful White Light surrounding the images seen on the news and in your mind is very powerful.

I hope you will join me in feeling and sending love to those whose lives have been so deeply affected by the weather in Tennessee May 1-2.  And then see that healing love traveling out around the entire world.

I’ve learned how to get right to the issue that is standing in the way, identify the hold it has, remove it and put something in it’s place.  And that is the process that I use with my clients.

So much has been learned from the new science, some of which has only been discovered in the last couple of decades.  We know so much more about the way the brain works, about the energetic system of the body, about the power of intention and emotions and about the universe and the field of energy that connects everything in existence.  We have learned that we impact that field of energy in a way that contradicts the accepted laws of physics.

A lot of people choose to ignore the new science because it shakes the foundation of so much that we accept as fact.  But I don’t ignore it because it explains why I am able to create change in the physical by doing “work” in the mental-the unseen realm of thought and intention.

And the new science has made sense of things so that I no longer feel that there is a conflict in my religious beliefs.  The power in our brains, thoughts, intentions and the fact that everything is made of energy can’t be denied.  Ignoring that doesn’t mean it’s not being used and having an effect.  It just means we’re misusing it and being neglectful of it in my opinion.

I know my process works because I have tested it for years.  And amazingly, as complex as everything from the brain to the universe is, everything boils down to a simple formula that I use for consistent results .  It’s based on working with your brain and your heart, using techniques to activate the same reactions that automatically happen during those time when success comes effortlessly to the successful.

When success happens easily, it is because your brain accesses beliefs and the emotions attached to them and that causes an energetic response that leads to success.

I have discovered how to artificially induce that state by working with the brain and memories in a specific way.  You literally “trick” your brain into believing the information you feed it is real and before you know it, magical things begin to happens.

My coaching begins with determining where you are right now, looking at options and  making a plan of action so you move forward and develop or strengthen your connection to your own inner wisdom and guidance.

We work together to build confidence and a momentum of forward movement that unfolds as you use tools and techniques that eliminate the need for willpower and a lot of effort.  There are very simple things that must be done consistently but they certainly aren’t difficult and don’t require a lot of extra time.

As you convincingly tell a new story to your brain using my formula and techniques, that story becomes your life.  The way you think and feel about life changes the reality of your life.  I don’t know exactly why, just that it does.

Sure, I had many successes but what I didn’t like more than anything else was the feeling that things were totally out of my control. I was at the mercy of some dark force that somehow could get control of things, no matter how much I prayed, said affirmations and did all of the things that spiritual leaders or different “gurus” told me to do.

It never worked consistently! When things didn’t work, I couldn’t see anything I was doing wrong to keep my goal from manifesting. I hated that feeling of not knowing where to turn.

Ahhhh…In steps new scientific discoveries about the way the brain works, about the way memories are stored and accessed, about a field of energy that we are connected to, about intention that can affect something physical thousands of miles away. The more research I did, the more the science seemed to fit with my spiritual beliefs and validate what I learned in my after death experience. Those beliefs say that God is everywhere, God created everything, I am made in God’s image and likeness and that God is Light and Love. It also helped me put some other things into perspective about God’s will for my life and my beliefs about Jesus Christ.

I feel deep love when I think about Jesus Christ but I didn’t see Jesus during my after death experience. It upsets some people when I say that I saw the image of an older man who represented God to me when I emerged from the dark tunnel and into the incredible place of peace and tranquility. I have to tell it like it is and there is no way that it felt like I was met by Jesus Christ.

But here’s how I make sense of that. Every story I hear about Jesus when he was alive tells of his love, forgiveness and compassion. What I was made to understand as I stood in the Light was that “heaven” is that high vibration of energy that allowed me to feel at complete peace. That was exactly what Jesus embodied. I saw that as I raise my vibration to that of love instead of the anger I vibrated from my physical body on earth, I come closer to the Light and the bliss of heaven. Jesus is Love and I get to the Father through Love.

So the next logical step, once you can accept some of the findings-what is sometimes referred to as “the new science,” is to figure out how to use it to benefit your life and improve the world.  Far too many scientific studies show that your thoughts, intention, and emotions cause an effect in the physical.

It’s time that we stop looking outward for change and realize what can happen by going inward.  I was struck by Albert Einstein’s quote “The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.”

The power of your mind is incredible and I believe it is meant to be used to manifest your desires and make the world a better place.

In Loving Memory of Beau- In My Heart Forever
April 6, 1996 – June 20, 2009

How do you feel when you hear that a family member, family pet, good friend or even someone on the news has a life threatening disease?  Helpless or sad for them?

Would you be interested to know that recent discoveries show that you don’t have to feel helpless anymore. I know this from firsthand experience.

Although my “sidekick” and constant companion Beau is no longer with me, I still want to share his story with those who need hope. But I also have so many other stories from my own experiences of healing, along with human family members, friends and clients.

Other than from God, I have never felt unconditional love like what I felt from Beau.  It was difficult to lose him but he lived as long as expected for a healthy Gordon Setter.  I smile now when I think of him and don’t have the regret of knowing that cancer took him early.  We shared 2 extra years of love and a lot of laughs because of the energy work I did on him.  I believe that was what made a difference because I have seen it with so many animals I have worked with.  And my own health issues literally disappear more often than not.

It’s a mystery to me but I have NO DOUBT that it works.

The days of hopelessness are over because I know what to do and it is so empowering to know I will never feel like I don’t know where to turn again.

Years ago I did a lot of singing and guitar playing.  “You Needed Me” sung by Anne Murray was a frequent request.  I hadn’t heard or sung the song for years.  I received a notice from someone through YouTube, went to his channel and saw the video above.  I played it and light-heartedly launched into song as it instantly brought back thoughts of one of the greatest memories I have.  I was at an event and then invited onstage to sing some Anne Murray songs.  That period of my life was full of great friendships, financial abundance and many good times.

As I sung along, my physical body re-experienced the positive emotions of that time and I used the experience to create new associations between those physical feelings and a new rather lofty goal I am working on.  (One I am “tricking” my brain into believing is my present reality.)

I was able to maintain positive feelings from the memory as I thought about feeling that way again with my newest goal attainment. (The one that hasn’t happened yet but that I am working on.)

To say it a different way, what I am attempting to do is to make the new goal seem very real in my mind while I am feeling very strong positive emotions that are actually strong enough to create a physical expression.  They aren’t just thoughts in my head.  I use my thoughts to create physical feelings.

If I would not have been able to maintain the positive feelings as I sang along and projected it into the present goal, I would not have tried to force it.  That is when I would have ended any thought about my present goal and just focused on feeling good as re-lived the memory. If I lost the good physical feelings all together, noticing a shift in my physical body caused by the activation of negative feelings from cellular memories, I would have stopped listening to the song and made vibrational healing a priority. I would do energy work to eliminate the source of the doubt or negativity I was feeling.

I think I found a way to illustrate the problem if you aren’t able to manifest your desires and don’t know why.  You’ll see how alpha mind power can help you or hurt you if you’re not paying attention to it.  Hopefully you will really “get” it.  Taking this into account can change everything.  You’ll see the importance of knowing what’s really happening when you think about your goals.

If you are struggling with anything in life, I hope you will give this the thought it deserves. It is a critical missing piece for personal goal setting and attainment.

Hopefully you understand that everything physical is energy and appears as it does due to its frequency. And it goes without saying that you are also energy. So lets walk down a path of logic assuming that you are familiar with some of the new scientific discoveries about energy-that humans emit light and frequencies that can be measured, and that different emotions cause a reaction in the body that creates different frequencies of energy.

We now also know that we are all energetically connected in the quantum field where there is also no time or space. It is now accepted fact that Quantum Physics plays by different rules than Newtonian Physics that we learned about in school. And yet, we still mostly think in terms of physical objects and rely on scientific theories that can’t explain why things happen that defy Newtonian Physics.

Credible scientists have scientific studies, meaning measurable and repeatable studies, that show plenty of evidence that thoughts, beliefs and intentions cause an effect in the physical world. Yet most people continue to ignore the first place they should look when they want to create change.

That place is in their mental workshop where construction is happening 24 hours a day.

The logical question is to ask what you think, feel and see internally when you put your focus on whatever it is that you want to change. That is what determines the frequencies you emit. So what is the logical conclusion if you are creating negative frequencies when thinking about your goal?

What you resonate out is what you will connect with and find more of in your life. You have to change what resonates from each of the areas that are active when you think about your goal.

If you’re into the Law of Attraction or The Secret, this idea isn’t anything new. But knowing it isn’t doing it. The point becomes whether or not you are following a formula or process that will change what you desire to change. I find that most people are doing some or most of what is necessary but if one little piece is left out, you will continue resonating a frequency that doesn’t match the one necessary to manifest your desires.

Although I’m not suggesting them (unless your budget allows you to buy extra toys that are fun to play with), there are many different software programs that will give you feedback about your level of coherence or indicate to you if your body is in a physically relaxed state.  It’s important that you actually take action to change things and not just learn about them and observe them with feedback tools.  Too many people stop there and never change things so life is happier and more fulfilling.

I’m doing this to illustrate a point but I don’t want you to become distracted by the tool and make a common mistake of going down a rabbit trail.   Your life will change when you find and change the source of the problem that keeps you from being able to believe your dream is possible.

Below are images that show my level of coherence during two different situations I was thinking about. Ideally, I want to see smooth even patterns with high peaks such as in the top image. In that image, the program was showing that I was at a level of 100% coherence.

For the sake of comparison, I thought of a dream of mine that I felt 100% positive about accomplishing. I was able to stay in a coherent state for the full 2 minutes as I thought about my goal and felt gratitude for it because I knew in my heart that it was becoming my reality. That is a goal that was easily accomplished by me.

I attempted to feel the same way for 2 minutes as I thought about a challenging goal that I am working on. Instead I felt disbelief, doubt and fear.  I normally wouldn’t continue the feeling for 2 minutes once I recognized it but I allowed it for the sake of this illustration.I could feel my body go into a state of stress as I felt fear that it wouldn’t happen and very subtle negative thoughts came to my mind.

(This graph below was from a goal that has not yet manifested but it will if I continue using my Triangle Formula for Success process consistently. If this goal is important enough, I will. But I must find and then change something in my thoughts, feelings or sight (images) that activates stress when it comes to mind.)

Can you see the difference in the frequencies of energy? The top graph is what I strive for. I don’t normally use software because I can gauge what is going on by paying attention to what I am feeling in my physical body. I look for tension, a feeling in the pit of my stomach or maybe shallow breathing and increased heartbeat. Those are signs that my body is feeling stress.

Only when I can create that coherent pattern of energy that happens when I am able to stay relaxed will I allow myself to think about my goal. The bottom graph indicates what happens when there are feelings and internal beliefs that must be changed. I work on each of the components and use the techniques in Triangle Formula for Success until I am able to resonate a consistent frequency that spells success with manifesting my desire.

It’s not about the software. Don’t think you need expensive software to work on your goals. I play with it at times for illustrations and to make a point but it’s a toy, not a necessity. I say this because it is typical behavior to run and buy something that makes you feel like you are doing something. The software is a toy and can confirm what you already know-you’re not euphoric when you think about your goal. You can’t see it as becoming your reality and truly believe it without activating stress. You feel some apprehension about it actually happening.

In other words, you’re not attaining your goal because you feel stress when you think about it and see it in your Mind’s Eye.  You’re not able to feel belief and gratitude as you envision it as your reality.

When I discover that I just can’t seem to get my thoughts, feelings and images that come to mind into focus with faith, belief and expectation of success, I know I have work to do. Then it becomes all about using simple techniques and tricks to find and shift them.

The bottom line is that you must be the one who controls what you put in your mind.  You can trick your brain into believing something is your reality and before you know it, it is.  It always feels magical to me the way things just show up.

I think my 7 stories might be able to give you some insight-minus the pain!

If you want to manifest your desires, having a sense of spiritual awareness, knowing there is more to life than what meets the eye, gives you a great advantage. It opens doors that are closed to a person who doubts everything that can’t be seen and proven.

And I think my absence of doubt may be the biggest reason that I have some pretty amazing stories about healing and manifesting. I am open to the possibility of just about anything imaginable happening. And so it does.

I do have witnesses to some miraculous things that indicated that what I did with my thoughts created energy that affected physical things. But if someone is a doubter, there really isn’t a way to convince them that we were created with the ability to impact the world around us. So this isn’t an attempt to convince anyone.  But I do want to give hope to you if you need some encouragement to use the gifts you were born with.

I have had some incredible experiences in my life.  They have proven to me that we were born with great power and unfortunately, we can use it to improve life or destroy it. You can work from an overinflated ego or from spiritual awareness-the realization that we have a connection to something that isn’t contained in our physical body.

With that awareness, there is a melting of the ego that allows you to tap into something that knows no limitation in time or space.  My story about  healing my severed fingertip practically overnight tells me all I need to know about what is possible.  (See the video about it when you sign up on the right.)

A person with a big ego can tap into the power.  I’ve seen it happen many times but it leads to nowhere but self destruction eventually.

Magic happens when you put focus on your true essence, the part of you that makes your heart beat.  It happens when you stand firmly in faith and look beyond the problem, trusting that a bridge will appear to carry you over the gap.

We were all born with powerful minds and some pretty great things can happen when we use them constructively. My stories are perfect examples that you can manifest your desires by using your mind.

As long as your focus is in the future, seeing and feeling your vision, you won’t be spending time doing what causes a repeat of the past.

So if you want to manifest your desires, you have to know exactly what your focus is. Sometimes priorities change and that is ok and different than not knowing what your focus is.

For me, it is a daily routine of asking myself what my biggest priority is. Life happens and things change so I’ve learned to go with the flow if I have to change my focus. One thing I know for sure is that if I am trying to focus on a certain goal but my energy is being pulled in a different direction, I am associating negative energy with my goal.

So I may as well give my attention to what is on my mind so I can resolve it if necessary. Coherence is key. I only want to work on goals when I am in a peaceful state-a state where I am feeling emotions like peace and gratitude. That is the only way I can actually have a feeling of success in my physical body as I am holding my vision.

In my personal development coaching, vision is just one of the things I emphasize but it is very important. If you don’t create a vision to think about, your thoughts and energy are scattered. You must have laser beam focus so the quantum field knows what you are intending. It must understand what you are ordering and your feelings are the language that gives it power.

The secret weapon that works like magic is working with my internal visual screen to see how I physically feel. I watch movies of myself accomplishing the task but I do it in a way that I become aware of my true beliefs about my ability. I never try to force or ignore a feeling that isn’t conducive to success. Those are indicators of the subconscious programs that run and manifest more of whatever it is that you believe deep down.

I use a process that allows me to develop true belief. I don’t attempt to force a belief or convince myself of one that isn’t really there. You must truly believe to achieve and it must be so real in your mind that you feel it in your bones.

I have found that it makes all the difference in the world, especially with something like a goal to lose weight, if I keep my mind engaged and visualize the results I am after, especially when I am exercising or eating. Once again, it is important not to try to force good thoughts and feelings when they don’t come naturally. If negativity comes up, I take my mind off of my goal and focus on getting back to a state of coherence.

Scientists must prove and measure things in order to say it has a scientific basis. The only thing that exists in their world is something that can be calculated. They would call the results I get “nonsense.”

I create an intention and see things materialize as soon as I am capable of focusing my attention on it while experiencing a specific feeling that comes from belief and faith. When I can’t get the feelings right, I simply focus on vibrational healing and take my mind off of my goal. My focus is to clear any vibration that falls in the fear category and then create the vibration of success for my goal. That process is effortless with the use of vibrational medicine.

I work with my goals in a much different way than most people. Everything becomes about vibrational healing. I identify a healthy vibration, a feeling that releases healthy life giving chemicals into my bloodstream. Next I work on associating those feelings with my vision and thoughts.

I prep my brain with visualization exercises and use creative visualization to build a scene that represents success with my goal. I consider my mind to be a workshop where I construct my new reality visually and then I work on attaching the appropriate feelings of faith, belief and expectation to it through my thoughts.

And that is where the roadblock comes in for most people who can’t seem to get where they want to go.

When you understand how powerful memories are, you understand that life becomes about associations with the past. The past is referenced to tell your brain whether to protect you from harm or if the situation is safe. That is why the past is repeated so often and things don’t change. You must train your brain to think differently and see your new life. If you aren’t proactive with your thoughts, your old momentums simply repeat.

Focused mental energy is so powerful and repetitive thoughts and associations strengthen the neural pathways in the brain, making them stronger. It’s important not to take thoughts lightly and to plan them intentionally.

The book, The Mind & The Brain by Jeffrey M Schwartz, M.D and Sharon Begley, explores the power of the mind. Dr. Schwartz talks about an extraordinary discovery he made. His patients with obsessive-compulsive behavior were able to change the neural pathways in their brains, permanently!

Do you get that? You can change your brain, which will change your behavior and your life.

Do you understand why it is so important to use creative visualization in a proactive way? You have some amount of control over pathways that form and fire in your brain. And the pathways that fire in your brain create a momentum that shapes your life. This is very exciting to me.

If you want to see changes in your life, you have to build it first in your mind and that’s why I use “Triangle Formula for Success” when working with goals. It provides the structure for thinking, feeling and seeing your goal in a way that leads to success.

But I knew that I had to.  No one had a gun to my head but the urging to tell my story was stronger than if there would have been one.  After more than 25 years of silence, I suddenly felt as if I wanted to share the beauty and lesson of the experience more than I wanted to protect myself from the ridicule and arguments that were sure to come.

There’s been some of that but there have also been people like Brad who have shown up and made me feel like I did the right thing.  I had shared my story to help others understand the importance and power of love and to help remove the fear of God’s judgment because I felt only love from Him.

Brad was someone who related to my experience because he has experienced a special connection himself-and it didn’t require a “near death experience.”  Everyone is capable of experiencing something similar.

It can be easy to get stuck by seeing a problem and difficult to hold the vision of triumph before it has materialized.  It is easy to get discouraged and want to quit.  And that’s why people like DJ Gregory are such a gift.

After watching this video, how can you possibly want to quit something you started just because it gets tough and challenging?  I hope his words spoken on his day of triumph will ignite your heart like they have mine.

“If you have a dream, go after it.  Don’t let anybody tell you you can’t do something.” 

This said from a man who was told as a boy that he would never walk.  He didn’t listen and instead reached his goal of walking every hole of every round of every event of the 2008 PGA tour.  He lived out his dream by walking over 900 miles that year on his own two legs steadied by a cane and a mind and heart full of determination.

DJ, you will inspire me forever!

Your thoughts begin a series of events that create a vibration of energy that resonates throughout the universe.  And that message may not even be close to what you think it is.

There is a process that happens that was meant to protect your ancestors from physical harm back in the days when everyday life posed a physical threat.  And even though you don’t need to run away from the same kind of danger, your body reacts as if you do when certain beliefs are activated. 

And that is the problem.  Your perception of life and your belief in yourself and your ability to succeed may actually cause a stress response instead of the message you think you are sending.  If you feel the slightest bit of fear as you think about your future, it is detected.

I began to see a tremendous difference in my life after I learned how to use energy work to stop the stress reaction from happening.  My health improved drastically because I wasn’t taxing my immune system so much.  And I was able to create the feelings of success and maintain them as I worked with creative visualization.  I learned many years ago that as soon as I could create a clear intention and then maintain the feelings of success with it, it would come into my life.  Learning about the power of the subconscious mind and the activation of the stress response that often went undetected, made all the difference in the world in working with my goals. 

Listen to Dr Bruce Lipton explain the HPA Axis and how it can affect health.  I believe strongly that its activation while thinking about and visualizing goals is also detrimental to success.

You’ve probably heard the phrase “mind over matter” that is mentioned when a person gets results that most people would not expect.  That person has a vision and positive feelings about seeing it through until it becomes reality.  That person does not allow fear of an unwanted result to enter into his/her mind. 

 You have the same ability and it works with health issues.

Do you know what one of the biggest stressors to the immune system is?  It’s FEAR.  It’s not the actual disease or disaster, which rarely happens, but it is the FEAR of the disease or disaster that wears down a healthy body.

All I have to do is look at my “love” and “fear” strawberries to remind me how destructive fear is.

If people around me are sick or the news is spreading warnings about some horrible affliction that is spreading, I feel a wave of fear go through my body and my thoughts bring up images of getting sick also.

Immediately, I say “No” to those thoughts.  I banish them from my mind, turn the news off, go and do some energy work to remove the source of the fearful thoughts.  Then I do things like eat chicken soup and remind myself that studies have shown that it actually does help.  I take some extra vitamin C and imagine it going in and boosting my immune system.  I hear the words of Dr Bruce Lipton as he explains how our bodies have all the stem cells we need to heal ourselves of anything.  He says we don’t need the pharmaceutical companies harvesting them and then selling them back to us.  So I create an intention and an image of my stem cells rushing to the aid of any vulnerability I might have and strengthening it so I remain healthy and strong.

I do everything I can to support a strong healthy belief that I am healthy and strong, which includes feeding my body things that I believe will support it.

I remind myself of times like the one where I became very ill on a day where I was scheduled later that evening to perform at a little club.  I was the solo act, singing and playing guitar, and I could barely speak let alone sing, due to severe coughing, sneezing etc.  It was a small very unimportant gig and I could have easily cancelled but it was very important to me.  It had built momentum and was now a huge party for some of my family and friends and some had never been out to see me perform before.

I simply got mad.  I refused to be sick, even as I got sicker as the day went on.  I told myself over and over again “I AM GOING tonight and I will have a wonderful time and sing as well as I ever have.  I will NOT be sick.  People asked me what I was going to do.  I answered with complete conviction.  “I am going to play tonight and I will NOT be sick.”  I used ceative visualization and I believed it with every ounce of my being.  I was indignant that this cold/flu could think it could mess me up!  I went on with my plans never giving a thought to the fact that I was sick and wouldn’t be able to sing.  The images in my creative visualization are all I allowed my mind to see.

When I walked out the door and headed to the club, my head cleared, I felt fine, played my heart out and had a great time.  After I packed up and headed back home, all of the symptoms returned and I was just as sick as I had been earlier in the day.  But I had gotten exactly what I had asked for and visualized-to be well that evening so I could play and sing.  I realized later how much thought I had given to the fact that I didn’t care if I got sick again later, I just HAD to be well to play that evening.  Things were happening consciously and subconsciously because of my thoughts and beliefs. 

With hindsight, I can see a flaw in my plan to be well to sing.  It could have been just as easy to banish the cold for good.

Do you really want to allow fear of the Swine Flu or anything else to control your thoughts and add the very stress that can cause the vulnerability?  You have the power to choose and do something about it.

My decision is to create a vision of health to see in my mind’s eye, to support my physical body with good nutrition, water, sleep and exercise and energy work to reduce my stress and change the beliefs that cause me to be fearful.

Positive visualization starts the process of creating feelings and it can be learned by doing visualization exercises.  But too many people think that positive visualization is where it ends.  It doesn’t end there, it begins there.  You want to see things in your mind’s eye that create feelings of expectation.  Studies show that what you expect, you will get.
