I get pretty passionate about this (see video below) because I was in so much pain for the majority of my life. And then I discovered the world of energy medicine out of desperation. Years of searching for a way to end my pain and feel better took me to clinics all over the country.  Mostly what I got from it was to be diagnosed with a lot of stuff and medical bills to pay but not the “fix” I was looking for.

Between chronic fatigue syndrome, to a congenital back problem I was told to live with, to the depression I felt from the constant pain, among other things, there wasn’t much to look forward to in the future.

I thought I was doomed to feel as I did for the rest of my life. But a man who did energy work on my back opened a door that changed my future.

Vibrational healing can come from many different modalities. With most of them, you identify the problem or emotions that you feel and then tap or point your fingers or use the energy from your hands to dissipate the cause of the stress.

It might seem crazy if you’ve never heard of it but it works. And it makes a lot more sense to me now that so much new information has been revealed about the energetic system of the body and the newly confirmed energetic field referred to as the quantum field.

When you change your energy, it not only improves your life but it affects everyone who comes in contact with you.  Haven’t you felt the difference in the energy of a happy person and a grumpy person?  Don’t put grumpy energy into the field!

When there is something about my life that I would like to change, the first thing I do is decide what I want it to look like.  Since the mind’s language is images, I want to give it one that represents what is important to me.  And I want to create pleasant feelings to associate with my image of accomplishment.

So one of the things I might do is to find a video to watch with scenery that brings about good feelings and pleasant music that helps me use alpha mind power.  I want to have a relaxed feeling in my body.  Sometimes I might pretend that I am there in the scene or sometimes I just use it to relax.

Some of the scenery and the music in this video works well for me.  So I sit, listen and watch as alpha mind power works at making my thoughts seem as if they actually are the reality I am living right now.  The more I work at “tricking my brain” into believing it, the sooner it will happen.

You have an incredible amount of power available to you for healing or creating any success by focusing your thoughts on the end results you want rather than on the image of what is. When you create an intention of healing, allowing your brain to see images of the successful outcome while holding the feeling of faith and expectation in your heart, the results can come in the blink of an eye.

But we have never been taught to do this so there is usually a seed of doubt and that is all it takes to continue “as is” instead of seeing the change.

Science gathers more and more data that indicates the power of intention but it is very slow in getting known and accepted. The information in the video below shows what thoughts and intentions can do so why not start using your intentions for improved health as alternative natural healing and see how far it will go for you. Even small changes can lead to more faith in the idea that your thoughts and intentions matter.

A big dog happily trotting along on a leash held by a person smiling as they walk toward a set of identical twins could cause a different reaction in each of them. Even though the twins came into existence out of the same DNA, their beliefs about dogs causes a reaction that fits with each of their individual beliefs held. One of them might smile and slow down hoping to pet the dog while the other one jumps back out of the way.

The situation out there isn’t actually different. It’s a dog walking down the street in a non-threatening way. But what went on inside, in the thinking of each the twins, was very different. The situation wasn’t the least bit dangerous but beliefs and perception of the situation caused a reaction to retreat from danger in one of them.

I just ran across a video that had an image that makes a great point that made me laugh and nod when I heard it. He was basically talking about how life is an illusion we create in our minds and then we look out there and accept what we see as the way it is.

I firmly believe that we create with our minds and put our own spin to things we see out there.  We can create something different when we determine to. That is why one of the central points in my coaching programs is mind power healing of the problem by “tricking your brain” into seeing and believeing something different-something that isn’t quite reality-yet.

But back to what made me smile. The speaker, David Icke, talked about a person looking in the mirror, seeing their hair and trying to fix it by combing the mirror. Now that cracks me up! What we do sometimes in trying to accomplish a goal is just about as silly.

When you want to change something, like health or your financial status, it’s much more effective to create change by looking at your thinking, what kind of energy you create with your thoughts and where you direct your energy. Direct your mind power to healing the limiting thoughts that keep you holding on to something that feels safe instead of creating a new and exciting reality.

When you consider that your brain works with pictures and symbols that represent something in particular, you see the wisdom in feeding it the information you would like it to have. Not handing the reins over to subconscious power that is driving your life with old patterns from the past means you are using brain power in a much more effective manner. If you don’t take charge, you are letting your brain choose its own reference information from your memories. And that is what keeps your old momentums going instead of creating the changes you desire. You can use more brain power to manifest your desires and see faster results when you use it consciously and keep it pointed in the direction you’d like to go. Don’t give all the power to the subconscious mind.

Using brain power can be thought of like the power of a car’s engine. If the car has fuel flowing through the carburetor it can be likened to your life force that flows through your body and keeps you alive and breathing. The power from your engine can take you to a destination or drive in circles just as your brain can keep you repeating the same behavior that limits your future. Neither of them care whether you give direction or not. They just do their thing.

But when you give conscious direction to your brain with pre-planned thoughts and images, you are using brain power with a sense of purpose and it will take you where you desire to go just as putting your hands on the steering wheel with eyes focused ahead takes you to the destination you have in mind. And it’s so much fun to find things unfolding just as you have imagined!

Developing intuition gives you great power and an advantage over others who deny it exists. You’ve probably heard about women’s intuition and with regard to men, comments made to “follow your gut” when making a difficult decision that holds pros and cons. It means follow the promptings you feel inside.

As humans, we are born with abilities that we quickly lose from lack of use. But like any skill, intuition development is very possible. When you acknowledge your feelings when they seem to carry a particular message, you strengthen your ability to gain accurate information from an energy field that science had now determined we are connected to. When you deny that there is anything to an intuitive feeling and this energy field that connects you to infinite possibilities, you are placing limits on yourself that exist only because of the filters you view life through. Those filters were developed because of your past experiences and what you were taught by influential people in your life.

It’s funny how intution works. If you scoff at the idea and act like a skeptic, it is a self fulfilling prophesy. But when you determine to work on intuition development, you will find more and more reason to believe that your thoughts, feelings and intentions matter. You will find more and more information showing up in response to an intention you have made known whether verbally or in your mind.

So how do you acknowledge and work on developing intuition?

Open your mind to the idea that you see the world according to the beliefs instilled in you by others.

Be open to the fact that much of what was once thought to be true about the way the universe works is now obsolete.

Open your mind to the scientific fact that your physical body is made of energy, which makes you a spiritual being in a physical body. Open your mind to the idea that there is much more to everything than what meets the eye.

Then create an intention to run across some information you need and wonder how it will come to you. Be open to all possibilities. And then pay attention to your intution if you feel led to go someplace, call someone or do something.

And then say thank you when the information shows up and realize that you are developing intuition.

Acknowledge that it is possible that your intention connected you with the avenue that led to the manifestation of your desire.

It just goes to show that things do not always have to be as they have always been.  There are infinite posibilities for everything in life.

There are universal principles that cause things to outplay in a certain way and they are at work every day, all day long. This simple law of attraction story (click link and scroll down to June 29, 2010) about a ticket being resolved is an example of a positive outcome that was made possible because…

(according to Joan) “I started to get a bad attitude towards the court and judge. Then I remembered your technique and immediately thought love and changed my attitude to one where I felt relaxed instead of tension. So as I sat there waiting for my turn to talk to the judge, I thought of something that makes me feel love (my love for my cats and kids) and then thought of a white light surrounding the judge while feeling this love…”

The part that I absolutely love is that she recognized what she was feeling and made a conscious choice at that point to take action and create something different.

Now sure, some people will call this a coincidence but there are those of us who frequently make a conscious effort to take law of attraction action-with a sense of purpose. We see the difference it makes and know it is not a fluke. We know that thoughts create energy and that energy has a tendency to affect others in a way that causes them to act accordingly. When you expect the worst, visualize it and in turn create a vibration that aligns with your thinking, you will often get just what you expect. By the same token, when you create the opposite feeling, you are setting things up so that a positive outcome is a very real possibility.

Call it by any name but there is a law of attraction vibration that brings out the best in others. It returns much more favorable results when you make a plan and send out a vibration of love with your thoughts. It just makes everybody feel better when someone’s around who is “in love” instead of anger!

READ FIRST BEFORE SCROLLING DOWN:  I had a real feel good moment when I read the first part of an email that circulated to my inbox. I am fascinated with service dogs and wondered what they were up to now.

Unfortunately, what also came to mind was a news story that I saw recently.  They were doing recovery after a number of people died in the Nashville floods. The story reported that 5 different times cadaver dogs reacted at the same point in the river so men in boats were diving and dropping cameras in that part of the river.

I sat thinking a moment about how wonderful dogs are with their many abilitites and willingness to serve.

Then I scrolled down to check out what they’re up to now after reading:

EMS has introduced trained service dogs to help cut costs .

Canines have been used for police work, search & rescue, tracking, service dogs, and a variety of other tasks .

Now they’re assisting EMS and doing so at a much lower cost .

Here’s what the email said:

This is a newborn offspring of Taskin, a Gypsy Stallion owned by Villa Vanners of Oregon. These pictures were taken immediately after his birth on April 6. The mare laid down, and then he trotted around and crawled right up into her lap.

What more can you say, just beautiful.

I have to admit that as the rain just kept coming, as the wind blew ferociously and howled outside my windows, sirens blew and warnings beeped from my television, I was scared. But it was nothing like the feeling I had when I saw the destruction it had caused to others. My damage was minimal where so many had lost everything, some even their lives.

But these are also the times that make me feel so grateful for the things I have learned in my life that allow me to change my feelings of fear and despair to faith and hope. When the immediate danger was over, I knew exactly what to do and so I did it.  I used energy medicine to calm my anxiety.

I have strong conviction that it is always my responsibility, knowing what I know, to eliminate my feelings of fear and desperation. I knew that if I did not, I would only be adding my energy to the chaos created by the situation.

I know that thoughts matter and they are a part of what determines the energy others have to deal with that are around you. I know that the process of creating feelings of love in my heart, amplifying the feelings and sending them out to surround those whose lives are turned upside down makes a difference.

I hope you can develop the practice of doing that too. That is how we can all help each other.

Feeling love in your heart and visualizing it as a beautiful White Light surrounding the images seen on the news and in your mind is very powerful.

I hope you will join me in feeling and sending love to those whose lives have been so deeply affected by the weather in Tennessee May 1-2.  And then see that healing love traveling out around the entire world.

I’ve learned how to get right to the issue that is standing in the way, identify the hold it has, remove it and put something in it’s place.  And that is the process that I use with my clients.

So much has been learned from the new science, some of which has only been discovered in the last couple of decades.  We know so much more about the way the brain works, about the energetic system of the body, about the power of intention and emotions and about the universe and the field of energy that connects everything in existence.  We have learned that we impact that field of energy in a way that contradicts the accepted laws of physics.

A lot of people choose to ignore the new science because it shakes the foundation of so much that we accept as fact.  But I don’t ignore it because it explains why I am able to create change in the physical by doing “work” in the mental-the unseen realm of thought and intention.

And the new science has made sense of things so that I no longer feel that there is a conflict in my religious beliefs.  The power in our brains, thoughts, intentions and the fact that everything is made of energy can’t be denied.  Ignoring that doesn’t mean it’s not being used and having an effect.  It just means we’re misusing it and being neglectful of it in my opinion.

I know my process works because I have tested it for years.  And amazingly, as complex as everything from the brain to the universe is, everything boils down to a simple formula that I use for consistent results .  It’s based on working with your brain and your heart, using techniques to activate the same reactions that automatically happen during those time when success comes effortlessly to the successful.

When success happens easily, it is because your brain accesses beliefs and the emotions attached to them and that causes an energetic response that leads to success.

I have discovered how to artificially induce that state by working with the brain and memories in a specific way.  You literally “trick” your brain into believing the information you feed it is real and before you know it, magical things begin to happens.

My coaching begins with determining where you are right now, looking at options and  making a plan of action so you move forward and develop or strengthen your connection to your own inner wisdom and guidance.

We work together to build confidence and a momentum of forward movement that unfolds as you use tools and techniques that eliminate the need for willpower and a lot of effort.  There are very simple things that must be done consistently but they certainly aren’t difficult and don’t require a lot of extra time.

As you convincingly tell a new story to your brain using my formula and techniques, that story becomes your life.  The way you think and feel about life changes the reality of your life.  I don’t know exactly why, just that it does.

Sure, I had many successes but what I didn’t like more than anything else was the feeling that things were totally out of my control. I was at the mercy of some dark force that somehow could get control of things, no matter how much I prayed, said affirmations and did all of the things that spiritual leaders or different “gurus” told me to do.

It never worked consistently! When things didn’t work, I couldn’t see anything I was doing wrong to keep my goal from manifesting. I hated that feeling of not knowing where to turn.

Ahhhh…In steps new scientific discoveries about the way the brain works, about the way memories are stored and accessed, about a field of energy that we are connected to, about intention that can affect something physical thousands of miles away. The more research I did, the more the science seemed to fit with my spiritual beliefs and validate what I learned in my after death experience. Those beliefs say that God is everywhere, God created everything, I am made in God’s image and likeness and that God is Light and Love. It also helped me put some other things into perspective about God’s will for my life and my beliefs about Jesus Christ.

I feel deep love when I think about Jesus Christ but I didn’t see Jesus during my after death experience. It upsets some people when I say that I saw the image of an older man who represented God to me when I emerged from the dark tunnel and into the incredible place of peace and tranquility. I have to tell it like it is and there is no way that it felt like I was met by Jesus Christ.

But here’s how I make sense of that. Every story I hear about Jesus when he was alive tells of his love, forgiveness and compassion. What I was made to understand as I stood in the Light was that “heaven” is that high vibration of energy that allowed me to feel at complete peace. That was exactly what Jesus embodied. I saw that as I raise my vibration to that of love instead of the anger I vibrated from my physical body on earth, I come closer to the Light and the bliss of heaven. Jesus is Love and I get to the Father through Love.

So the next logical step, once you can accept some of the findings-what is sometimes referred to as “the new science,” is to figure out how to use it to benefit your life and improve the world.  Far too many scientific studies show that your thoughts, intention, and emotions cause an effect in the physical.

It’s time that we stop looking outward for change and realize what can happen by going inward.  I was struck by Albert Einstein’s quote “The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.”

The power of your mind is incredible and I believe it is meant to be used to manifest your desires and make the world a better place.

In Loving Memory of Beau- In My Heart Forever
April 6, 1996 – June 20, 2009

How do you feel when you hear that a family member, family pet, good friend or even someone on the news has a life threatening disease?  Helpless or sad for them?

Would you be interested to know that recent discoveries show that you don’t have to feel helpless anymore. I know this from firsthand experience.

Although my “sidekick” and constant companion Beau is no longer with me, I still want to share his story with those who need hope. But I also have so many other stories from my own experiences of healing, along with human family members, friends and clients.

Other than from God, I have never felt unconditional love like what I felt from Beau.  It was difficult to lose him but he lived as long as expected for a healthy Gordon Setter.  I smile now when I think of him and don’t have the regret of knowing that cancer took him early.  We shared 2 extra years of love and a lot of laughs because of the energy work I did on him.  I believe that was what made a difference because I have seen it with so many animals I have worked with.  And my own health issues literally disappear more often than not.

It’s a mystery to me but I have NO DOUBT that it works.

The days of hopelessness are over because I know what to do and it is so empowering to know I will never feel like I don’t know where to turn again.
