Studies of after death experiences have been going on for years and in a great many of them, there is a common thread that hits home with me. Most people talk about the White Light, the indescribable love and that they wanted to stay where they were.
My after death experience gave me one thing I didn’t have-unwavering belief that we are so much more than physical bodies. I never doubt that I am a part of something that is so much bigger and more powerful than what could even be imagined.
And because I don’t waver and doubt and wonder about the power that we all have access to and are a part of, I am able to access my inner wisdom and creative spirit for manifesting my goals. That doesn’t mean I always attain them easily and without effort. It means that I continually turn inward and expect guidance to help me step forward and because I believe I will receive it, I do.
And it is that kind of faith and belief that moves mountains and causes goals to manifest.
So as I find interesting information, I hope it becomes food for thought, strengthens your faith and gives you the realization that you have access to great power. Accessing that power allows you to create the changes you desire. It requires clarity and focus but with faith and belief, what you conceive you can achieve.
It has been shown that during near death experiences, people who are physically dead, totally brain dead, meaning the brain is completely devoid of electrical energy, have been able to return to their bodies and fully describe what was going on. That means that there is no substance to the argument often heard that people claiming to have been dead are just accessing information in the brain.
I have to go back to one of my favorite quotes by William James. “If you wish to upset the law that all crows are black, you mustn’t seek to prove that no crows are; it is enough to prove one single crow to be white.”
If a person’s body is dead in every sense of the word, but later comes back to life and brain activity begins again, and they describe activities going on around their dead body during the time that it had no electrical signals, it means they are not just a physical body. Something was still alive when their body was not.
Our physical bodies are limited but our spirits are not. And when you bridge the gap between the two, very powerful things can be set in motion.
What I understood during my near death experience was that we are spiritual beings having a physical experience. Sure, we have to reckon with the physical while we are physical, but that doesn’t mean we can’t access the spiritual.
That’s made to seem scary or creepy by some but it’s really not. It is simply identifying with something that is a big part of what makes you-you.

After reading Terri’s story about her accident, “death” and meeting with God, I couldn’t help but be reminded of what happened to me about 18 years ago.
During that time, I was living in my condo and my “newest” neighbor’s son had just moved in with his elderly father who had purchased the condo below mine, after my long-time neighbors bought a house.
The elderly man’s son began stalking me almost immediately after his arrival. Sometime later, I found out that this was his M.O. and he had just been released from spending years in prison for stalking and harming another woman and her children. His life-threatening imposition upon me and my pets lasted for a full 7 years until I was forced to sell my condo and move!
As a woman who has always been spiritually “tuned in” and responsible, this man brought a major negative change, charge and threat to my life. My need for protection increased which lead to some interesting metaphysical practices which seemed to help, but not stop this man from terrorizing me. (The police were of no use and eventually had to attend “sensitivity training” to deal with their lack of empathy and experience in dealing with this stalker!)
After increasing my meditation and Reiki for a couple of months, I awoke one morning in a total state-of-bliss. This is not my usual state of mind. But, this special morning, it didn’t make a difference what or who was encountered in my world, I loved all of it!
During this time, I would take long walks to escape the constant threats of this man, and I would talk to God asking for specific things. Usually, within seconds, my desires would magically appear. Money would flow out from under bushes or appear in front of an item I was purchasing at the local store, people would appear to help me, etc.
As I fed hundreds of homeless animals at my expense, I would ask for “free food” and imagine 20 lb. bags of cat food on my front porch. They would always appear in stacks of 5, 6 or 10 bags. I never knew who left them. One day, I asked to meet a wonderful man who was into body building, as I was; a man who played piano or guitar, who loved cats and had money. Within the hour, I received a call from a man in our complex, whom I had never met before, and he asked me to stop by his place as he had a “gift” for me.
Upon my arrival, I noticed the piano in his living room, weights in his spare room, and he gave me a $100 bill to help pay for my feeding and caring of the homeless cats. He praised me for all the good work I had been doing with these animals. Yes, he was single! I left in a state of shock! My desire had manifested so quickly! It was astonishing.
Then I began healing sick animals which couldn’t be trapped. My neighbors would run to me asking for help with this or that, and I soon became known as “the animal healer”. No one else that I knew had these capabilities; I was on my own. Some neighbors began thinking it was the work of Satan or some other evil, and we all became infected with their “virus of fear”. I quit everything I was doing! Ended it all!
Over the years, I have spent a great amount of time trying to reach that state once again. I have come to realize that it is the love that I felt for the entire world, the trust and belief that I had in God that brought my state-of-bliss. I had been truly blessed with this experience!
My advice to everyone is basically Terri’s introduction. It is the total love, trust and belief in God, a Higher Power, that will help you achieve your desires. EFT is a good start to eliminate any and all negativity from your life so you, too, can reach your goals. You must let go of all your fear, but not common sense!
